Commentary: I agree with what Reid is trying to express with takes about 10,000 hours of dedication to a craft or profession to become an expert. Do not try and go fast, don’t think that you will be good at blogging or writing in general right away. You can make mistakes when you are just first starting to blog, so don’t get to frustrated if you think that you mess up on something you are not an expert at it and even some times expert messes up. When Reid says takes 10,000 hours of work to become an expert you just have to know you are not an expert right now you are still learning, as a wise man said failure is the road towards success.
Along with that idea where do not expect to be perfect right away, one think import that he stated was get it like a month. This idea is kind of like the same idea as the last one where don;t expect the best when you first tried it, give it some time for it to build up in your body or brain. studies shows that it take up to 28-30 days roughly a month for a person to adapt to a new environment, or habit.
Analysis: Apart from all of the positive statement that Reid had made in the article there are still a few negative point over blogging. First blogging can be good for the most part but, what about the individual that don’t have the opportunity to access the internet. This can be caused be many reason, like not having cellular devise or not having electronic devise in general. Also like individual that has bad internet at home. Sometimes blogging can be a challenge for those individual. Second this has been around for ages, negative comments or criticizes. No matter what happens there always that group of individual that targets online post and make negative comments on them. Some time people can be hurt by some of the comments that viewers or readers make. That can be a problem for some new writers. They will think to them self that dang I am not good enough for this, these people hate my work.
Summary: One key idea that Reid is trying to express in this article is that you can not be prefect right away. He uses few examples or idea to support this statement. First He said that it takes over 10,000 hours of work for someone to be called an expert at the field. He is trying to say that you are far from being an expert, so do not worried about making mistakes and just feel free to do what you want because you are not an expert. Another statement that he used to suppose the main idea, he said that it can take month or working with blog before getting into the habit of blogging. He is tell the reader again that writer are not perfect when they first approach the idea of blogging, so give it some time to work into the writer brain. same idea that you are not perfect right away, so give it what it takes to get there.
